Job Summary
Senior Skills Trainer for the Personal Care Attendant Program focused on educating consumers to manage PCA services and to support skills training across program tasks. Responsibilities include follow-up on functional skills training, assessing consumer/surrogate ability to manage PCA services, providing training aligned with Mass Health Service Agreement and PCM Contract, maintaining confidentiality, attending in-service and supervision meetings, applying program policies and Mass Health regulations, supporting independent living consumer control, reporting abuse, completing required documentation (Progress Notes, Dayforce, Outlook Schedule, mileage/expense forms, emails within 48 hours), coordinating intake and re-evaluations, providing training and ongoing support for EVV, tracking progress, and performing other duties as assigned by the Skills Trainer Supervisor. Qualifications emphasize experience with disabilities, communication and writing skills, basic Microsoft Office skills, and the educational requirement noted as Bachelor’s Degree preferred with GED or High School Diploma required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; GED or High School Diploma required
- Experience providing services for people with disabilities and knowledge of PCA programs is preferred
- Travel is required; valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle to travel within assigned service area
