Job Summary
Senior Skills Trainer for the Personal Care Attendant Program responsible for educating consumers on managing PCA services, assessing ability to manage PCA, training consumers/surrogates per Mass Health Service Agreement and PCM Contract, maintaining confidentiality, and completing required documentation. Roles include follow-up on functional skills, intake/re-evaluation support, EVV training, and collaboration with supervisors; travel within service area is required. Qualifications emphasize experience with disabilities, communication and organizational skills, and basic MS Office proficiency. Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with GED or high school diploma required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience providing services for people with disabilities and knowledge of PCA programs is preferred.
- Experience or education in teaching or counseling is helpful.
- Knowledge of community resources and social service systems is beneficial.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills.
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office/Outlook and the ability to navigate databases.
- Specialized training provided as needed.
