Job Summary
Registered Nurse sought to perform personal care management evaluations for children and adults with disabilities in a community-based setting. Responsibilities include conducting initial evaluations and annual reevaluations for PCA services, ensuring compliance with MassHealth regulations, scheduling and coordinating reevaluations, documenting progress notes, responding to inquiries, and collaborating with the PCA Program team. Travel within the MA coverage area (Suffolk and/or Middlesex Counties) is required; a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are necessary. Requires a MA RN license, 2 years of recent direct-care experience with disabled individuals, and 35 hours/week full-time (Mon-Fri, 8:30am–4:30pm), with a 2-day orientation in Stoughton.
Required Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts license to practice as a Registered Nurse in good standing with the Board.
- 2 years recent experience working with direct care of disabled individuals.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Travel within the coverage area is required for this position.
- 2-day orientation in Stoughton.
- 35 hours per week (full-time) Monday–Friday 8:30am–4:30pm.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Familiarity with MassHealth PCA Program
- Fluency in other languages
- 2+ years of direct care experience with disabled or elderly populations
- MassHealth PCA Program knowledge
- MassHealth regulations knowledge
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred)
