Personal Care Attendant

Job Summary
Assist EPIC youth with personal care routines (toileting, eating, etc.), provide needed accommodations to ensure participation in EPIC programming, and work with EPIC staff to prepare for programming. Supervise youth during workshops, volunteer opportunities, and recreational activities; represent Triangle and EPIC to family members, community organizations, and partners. Provide instruction in performing community service projects and other programming. Ensure that all personal care assistance aligns with EPIC's self-advocacy model and is youth-led. Participate in training, team meetings, and contribute to programmatic goals; maintain proper care, inventory, and storage of supplies; assist in curriculum and program execution; support overall program success.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in human services, which includes experience working with people with disabilities.
- Experience assisting people with disabilities with their personal care. This includes the ability to physically assist with transfers when necessary.
- This position requires traveling to different partners. Candidate must have a valid driver's license or dependable transportation.
