Job Summary
Personal Care Attendant needed in Boston to support EPIC youth with disabilities by providing personal care and necessary accommodations, supervising during workshops and activities, assisting in program preparation, and helping youth lead their self-advocacy through EPIC programming. Role involves assisting with toilet/feeding support, ensuring youth participation and accessibility, helping implement community service projects, coordinating with EPIC staff, maintaining supplies, participating in trainings, and contributing to programmatic goals. Must be dependable, Flexible with hours, and able to travel to partner sites.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in human services, including experience with people with disabilities
- experience assisting people with disabilities with personal care
- ability to physically assist with transfers when necessary
- valid driver's license or dependable transportation for traveling to different partners
