Job Summary
Perform and assist with personal care ADLs/IADLs for participants in the PACE program across center, home, or virtual platforms. Support PCA III in gathering and reporting information regarding care coordination, engagement, function maintenance, and socialization. Collaborate with IDT members and staff to address participant needs, health status, and physical or mental well-being. Requires Certified Nursing Aide education, a California Nurse Assistant Certificate, and a valid BLS certification. Bilingual skills and experience with the elderly population are preferred. Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $29.32 hourly. AltaMed serves over 400,000 patients as a Federally Qualified Health Center in Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Aide education and training
- Nurse Assistant Certificate by the State of California, Department of Health and Human Services-Aid and Technician Certification
- High school diploma
- Valid BLS certification or higher following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- some college education/credits
- California Food Handler Certificate of Achievement
- Prior experience working with physically or mentally impaired older people
- Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese
- Experience working with the elderly patient population
