Personal Care Attendant/Home Care Aide

Job Summary
Provide hands-on personal care in clients' homes, including bathing, grooming, toileting and incontinence care, assisting with transfers and mobility, preventing bed sores through turning/repositioning, supporting ambulation and range-of-motion exercises, and providing medication reminders (non-administration). Document care and use simple technology for clock-in/out and care plans. Must be currently registered as a California Home Care Aide (HCA), have a valid CA driver’s license, auto insurance, a reliable vehicle, and pass background checks Live Scan, TB test, orientation, and state training. English literacy required; strong communication and physical capability for hands-on care are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Be currently registered as a Home Care Aide (HCA) in California
- Have a valid California driver’s license
- Maintain valid auto insurance in your name
- Have a reliable personal vehicle
- Maintain a clean driving record
- Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Pass a background check and Live Scan
- Provide negative TB test results at time of hire
- Complete required orientation and state training
