Job Summary
Personal Care Attendant position with Easterseals-Goodwill providing in-home care services. Responsibilities include assisting clients with bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminders, ambulation assistance, shopping, escort to medical appointments, maintenance of a safe home, light household tasks, and providing companionship and respite. The role supports elderly and disabled individuals, people recovering from surgery, or those transitioning from nursing homes to live independently, with services available during daytime, evening, and weekend hours. Training is provided (including 16 hours of attendant training and in-services). Requires transportation to clients' homes, a valid driver's license and liability insurance, and the ability to pass background and DMV checks. Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of elderly and disabled helpful.
- Home health aide or nurse's aide training helpful.
