Job Summary
Join the Easterseals-Goodwill team as a Personal Care Attendant providing in-home personal care services to support elderly individuals, people with disabilities, and those recovering from surgery or illness. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, medication reminders, and meal preparation. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift and assist clients with limited mobility. A commitment to continued training is required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have transportation to and from client's home
- Valid driver's license and liability insurance are mandatory
- Willing to participate in 16 hours attendant training and in-services as scheduled
- Ability to move independently and transfer, lift and/or assist clients who have limited mobility
- Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all requirements of the job
- Must pass a background check and DMV check
- Must have reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of elderly and disabled helpful
- Home health aide or nurse's aide training helpful
