Job Summary
Personal Care Attendant provides hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) for residents in an assisted living community, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, while supporting residents’ emotional well-being and quality of life. Works alongside a caregiver and nursing staff to ensure resident safety and comfort, documents care activities, maintains resident privacy and HIPAA compliance, and helps create a warm, home-like environment. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, assist with transfers, and support mobility as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR and BLS certifications are a plus — training available
