Job Summary
SSM Health is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities and chronic illnesses. Key responsibilities include assisting clients with personal care needs, daily living activities, mobility transfers, and emotional support. The role requires effective communication with clients, families, and healthcare providers, along with maintaining confidentiality of clients’ information according to HIPAA standards. Qualifications include a high school diploma, CPR/First Aid certification, and relevant background checks. This is a part-time position with expected hours of no less than 16 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Fingerprint background check within last 6 months
- Physical within last 6 months
- Current 2-Step TB Test
- Current CPR/ First Aid Certification
- Highschool Diploma
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Up to Date PCA Certification
