Job Summary
Provide direct care and medication assistance to senior residents, including grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair cleaning, and transferring to activities or meals. Lift and transfer residents as needed while supporting their physical needs constantly. Maintain a standing position for prolonged periods and ensure all care meets or exceeds community expectations. Report to the Wellness Director within a supportive team environment focused on enhancing the physical and mental health of our residents.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent certificate
- competent history in a similar facility
- current CPR
- valid First Aid Certifications
- ability to speak, read and understand English fluently
- ability to push, pull, and lift residents and support their physical needs constantly
- ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in Assisted Living
