Personal Care Assistant (PCA) / Direct Support Professionals (DSP)

Directly support individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA). Responsibilities include providing companionship, engaging clients in activities (e.g., reading, walks), facilitating community integration and social engagements, accompanying clients to appointments, participating in team meetings, and helping maintain a safe, clean environment. Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to meet each individual's goals per their Service Plan, with effective communication and empathy essential. Qualifications include being at least 18 years old, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with current auto insurance, ability to pass background checks, and availability to work every other weekend, holidays, and on-call. Training is provided, plus opportunities for career growth and various shifts/locations in Lewistown, PA.
