Job Summary
As a Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver / Direct Support Worker in Erie, PA, you will assist individuals with light housekeeping, meals, and personal care tasks; accompany clients on appointments, outings, and errands; participate in community activities to promote independence and community integration; support IDD clients in achieving their Service Plan goals and encourage dignity and choice in daily living. You will engage in team meetings, help maintain a safe, clean environment, and provide empathetic, reliable support to elderly and disabled clients. Requires 18+ years old, High School Diploma or GED, valid driver's license with reliable vehicle and current auto insurance, ability to pass background checks, and availability for occasional weekends/holidays with flexible scheduling; comprehensive training is provided.
