Job Summary
Direct Support Professionals (DSP) and Personal Care Assistants (PCA) provide direct assistance to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, including community integration, companionship, and support with daily activities. Responsibilities include supporting clients to achieve their Service Plan goals, participating in community activities, accompanying clients to appointments, engaging in team meetings, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and collaborating with families and professionals. Requires 18+ years old, HS diploma/GED, valid driver’s license with auto insurance, ability to pass background checks, and availability for rotating weekends/holidays on-call. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth and flexible scheduling across multiple shifts in Mifflintown and Lewistown, PA.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Should have a high school diploma or GED
- Must hold a valid driver's license and possess a reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
- Must be able to successfully complete various background checks
- Availability to work every other weekend, on holidays, and participate in an on-call rotation is required
