Job Summary
Provide Personal Care Assistant/Direct Support Professional care to individuals with IDD and elderly/disabled clients in Altoona area. Responsibilities include assisting with light housekeeping, meals, personal care, accompanying clients to appointments, shopping, and community activities, and helping empower clients to live independently. Roles vary between DSP and PCA with pay rates of $18/hour and $14/hour respectively. Benefits include classroom/online training, ongoing coaching, 24/7 support from supervisors/trainers, flexible schedules, mileage reimbursement, voluntary insurance, retirement benefits, and overtime. Must be at least 18, have a HS diploma or GED, hold a valid driver''s license with reliable vehicle and insurance, and successfully pass background checks; availability required for alternating weekends and on-call.
