Job Summary
Assist individuals with light housekeeping, meals, and personal care tasks while accompanying clients on community walks, appointments, and errands. Support IDD clients in reaching goals outlined in their Service Plans by facilitating social engagement, skill-building activities, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. Encourage independence and dignity through effective communication and empathy to build trusting relationships. Engage in team meetings to share client progress insights. Requires valid driver's license, background checks, and availability for every other weekend, holidays, and on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Should have a High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle
- Current auto insurance
- Must be able to successfully to pass a variety of background checks and clearances
- Availability to work every other weekend
- Availability to work on holidays
- Availability to participate in an on-call rotation
