Job Summary
Caregiver role providing in-community support to elderly, physically disabled, and veterans. Responsibilities include accompanying clients to appointments, shopping, and errands; assisting with light housekeeping, meals, and personal care; and helping clients achieve independence and participate in daily activities. Roles involve flexible day/evening shifts, on-call rotation, weekends/holidays, mileage reimbursement, ongoing training, and supportive supervision. Emphasis on compassionate interaction, empowerment, and maintaining client independence through community activities and daily living support.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Possess a high school diploma or GED
- Must have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle with valid auto insurance
- Must be able to pass various background checks
- Must be able to work every other weekend, holidays, and on-call rotation
