Job Summary
Assist seniors and adults with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene while helping clients safely transfer and ambulate. Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and perform light housekeeping and laundry. Remind clients of medications, provide companionship and conversation, and transport them to appointments and errands. Monitor client well-being and report changes to the care team. This role serves clients in Pound Ridge, NY, and nearby communities. No prior caregiving experience is required; we provide training and support for all candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable transportation for client visits
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Must be reliable with a strong commitment to punctuality and professionalism
- Able to lift up to 25–50 lbs and assist with physical transfers
