Personal Care Assistant (Aged Care)

Job Summary
Assisting residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming and mobilising); monitoring residents' health and wellbeing, and reporting/documenting changes in health status; providing companionship and engaging residents in social activities and therapeutic programs; maintaining accurate records and documentation related to residents' care; ensuring care meets the strengthened aged care standards; requires Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent and demonstrated experience in elderly personal care; strong communication and interpersonal skills; compassionate and empathetic approach with a commitment to resident wellbeing; ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff; current police check and working with children check (or willingness to obtain).
