Job Summary
Provide personal care and support to seniors living safely at home, including bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and companionship. Assist with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises while ensuring a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways. Offer medication reminders, document client conditions, and notify supervisors of any concerns. Participate in joy-bringing activities such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies. Maintain a compassionate nature, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Personal Care Aide Certification in GA
- Current hands-on CPR certification
- TB screening
- Valid GA driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Personal transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role
