Job Summary
Provide personal care and support to seniors in the home, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship. Assist with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises; provide medication reminders; document conditions and notify a supervisor of concerns; ensure a safe home environment; engage clients in joy-bringing activities like puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies. Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and includes the possibility of online training; emphasize 1:1 aide-to-client ratios and flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
- Up-to-date TB test
- Covid-19 vaccination card
- Valid MO driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
- Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
