Job Summary
Personal Care Aide (PCA) role providing hands-on daily living support in clients’ homes in Leesburg, VA. Responsibilities include bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, safe transfers; mobility support with ambulation, walker or wheelchair use; meal prep and hydration; light housekeeping, laundry, and fall-prevention checks; medication cueing and reporting changes to supervising nurse; meaningful companionship through conversation and escorted outings; errands and transportation to appointments and community activities. The position emphasizes compassionate, respectful client interactions, adherence to infection-control and safety protocols, and reliable communication. Training is provided; demand includes travel within the service area; prior PCA/caregiver/HHA/CNA experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a PCA, caregiver, HHA, or CNA is a plus—but we’ll train the right heart.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within service area.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and follow all infection-control and safety protocols.
- Friendly, clear communicator who respects client dignity and confidentiality.
