Job Summary
Provide personal care services, household support, and companion care to adults following a written plan of care by a registered nurse. Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care while preparing meals and performing light housekeeping. Support mobility through range of motion exercises, ambulation assistance, and transfers using mechanical lifting devices, along with medication reminders. Maintain close relationships with clients to help them stay safe and independent at home.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year work experience
- Current HHA - Home Health Aide certificate (at least 40-hour course) OR CNA License OR 1-year of hands on experience working as a caregiver or Home Health Aide (HHA)
- BLS Certified CPR (must be American Red Cross, American Heart Association, HSI, or American Healthcare Academy)
- Level II Background Check
