Job Summary
Personal Care Aide provides daily living support for clients, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, safe transfers, mobility guidance with walkers or wheelchairs, meal preparation, hydration monitoring, light housekeeping, laundry, fall-prevention checks, medication cueing, meaningful companionship, and escorted outings. The role includes errands and transportation to appointments and community activities. Training is available for CHHA certification; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; flexible daytime/evening/weekend blocks; location Dorchester, NJ. Required Qualifications
- Experience as a caregiver, HHA, or in a similar role preferred
- If not certified, CHHA certification available through CHHA school program
