Job Summary
Personal Care Aide provides hands-on daily living support including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and safe transfers; assists with mobility, ambulation, and range-of-motion routines; prepares simple meals, monitors hydration; maintains a safe, tidy home with light housekeeping and laundry; cues medication and notes changes for the supervising nurse; offers meaningful companionship and escorts clients to appointments and activities; provides transportation as needed and travels within the service area. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, follow infection-control protocols, hold a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, and communicate clearly while respecting client dignity and confidentiality. Flexible daytime, evening, or weekend shifts; training provided for the right candidate.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a PCA, caregiver, HHA, or CNA is a plus—but we’ll train the right heart.
