Job Summary
Provide hands-on daily living support as a Personal Care Aide in Washington, DC. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and safe transfers; mobility support with ambulation and walker/wheelchair use; meal preparation and hydration monitoring; light housekeeping, laundry, and fall-prevention checks; medication reminders and noting changes for supervising nurse; meaningful companionship through conversation, activities, and escorted outings; and errands/transportation to appointments and community activities. The role requires a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with willingness to travel within the service area, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and adherence to infection-control and safety protocols.
