Job Summary
Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding. Perform light housekeeping, grocery shopping, meal preparation, and vital signs monitoring. Schedule medical appointments, provide transportation, and maintain accurate care records. Offer companionship and engage clients in activities to promote independence. Requires NYS HHA Certificate, annual physical, and PPD documentation. Must work 3, 4, or 5-hour shifts. Americare offers free health insurance, 22 PTO days, and a $500 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Must have NYS HHA Certificate
- Must be able to work 3,4 or 5 hour shifts
- Must be able to provide annual physical, PPD & other compliance documentation
- Must be able to pass NYS Department of Health Criminal Background Check
- Ability to care for patients with compassion
