Job Summary
We are seeking a Personal Banking Associate responsible for guiding customers through financial queries, including new accounts and banking solutions. Responsibilities include engaging customers in day-to-day service transactions, educating them on digital banking, and supporting frontline staff with transactions. The role requires establishing impactful relationships with customers, demonstrating strong communication skills, and exercising good judgment in confidential matters. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent experience, proficiency with MS Office, and knowledge of banking solutions.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma and/or 1+ years of relevant experience
- Investment Funds Canada (IFC) or equivalent – post-appointment within 6 months
- Strong administration, organizational, planning and time management skills
- Strong communicator with established customer experience skills
Desired Qualifications
- Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree (in related field) preferred
- Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), branch software and internet
- Knowledge of banking solutions and processes to advise customers
