Job Summary
Mandarin-speaking Personal Banking Associate providing banking and investment guidance in a Canada-based branch. Delivers exceptional service, identifies customer needs, and guides clients to suitable banking solutions while collaborating with partners to grow the customer relationship. Conducts needs-based conversations, promotes digital/self-serve options, and supports risk/compliance processes to safeguard assets. May work at multiple branches; flexible scheduling may vary by week. Responsibilities include cross-selling referrals, assisting with banking products, and contributing to branch and market objectives with a focus on a personalized customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Typically between 1 – 2 years of relevant experience and/or certification in related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Registration to sell investment products completed (Canada only)
- Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools, and applications
- Some experience in a consultative customer service or sales roles, with a drive to deliver a personal customer experience
- Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions to refer to specialists
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport and connections with customers
- Aptitude for listening, solving problems, and responding flexibly and creatively to new challenges
