Job Summary
The Personal Banking Associate role focuses on establishing and maintaining impactful customer relationships, addressing customer inquiries related to financial needs, and guiding them to the appropriate staff for solutions, including new accounts and investment advice. Responsibilities include engaging customers, supporting frontline staff with transactions, educating customers on digital banking, and recommending improvements to enhance customer experience. Candidates should possess a high school diploma, relevant experience, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Investment Funds Canada (IFC) or equivalent – post-appointment within 6 months
Desired Qualifications
- Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree (in related field) preferred
- Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), branch software and internet
- Knowledge of banking solutions and processes to advise customers
- Strong administration, organizational, planning and time management skills
- Strong communicator with established customer experience skills
