Job Summary
Delivers exceptional service to BMO customers by identifying needs and providing advice on financial solutions for everyday banking, retail investments, lending, and small business. Proactively engages prospects to complete needs assessments and generate appointments, while offering guidance on digital self-serve options. Supports transactions based on traffic, resolves credit audit issues, and makes credit recommendations for personal lending in compliance with policies. Applies the risk management framework to protect assets, identifies suspicious activity related to money laundering, and adheres to legal and regulatory requirements. Works collaboratively within the branch and market team, maintaining current knowledge of products and trends. May work at multiple branches or through various channels based on market needs.
Required Qualifications
- Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience
- post-secondary degree in related field of study
- Registration to sell investment products completed - as appropriate for the jurisdiction
- Appropriate lending qualifications and designations
- Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions
- Working knowledge of retail investments and lending products
- Experience in financial services
- Experience in a consultative customer service or sales role
- Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, Smart phones, online tools, and applications
