Job Summary
Delivers exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects by welcoming clients in the branch lobby, guiding them through digital and self-serve options, and conducting consultative conversations to identify needs for financial solutions. Probes to understand personal banking and credit card requirements, integrates marketing promotions, and recommends alternative banking channels to grow customer relationships. Meets transaction-based needs with seamless execution while following risk and compliance processes to safeguard assets and maintain privacy. Supports operational activities including inventory management, filing, and escalated service requests, and identifies suspicious activity patterns related to money laundering. Works collaboratively within the branch and through various channels to achieve business objectives and uphold the highest ethical requirements of the industry.
Required Qualifications
- Typically between 1 – 2 years of relevant experience
- Registration to sell investment products completed or in progress (must be completed within 12 months)
- Canada only
- Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, Smart phones, online tools, and applications
- Some experience in a consultative customer service or sales roles
- Drive to deliver a personal customer experience
- Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions
