Job Summary

Delivers exceptional service to BMO customers by welcoming them into the branch lobby, guiding them through digital self-serve options, and conducting consultative conversations to identify needs for personal banking and investment solutions. Reviews customer profiles to address everyday banking plans and credit card requirements while integrating marketing promotions into strategic advice. Supports operational activities including inventory management, filing, and following up on applications, while identifying referral opportunities to grow customer relationships. Probes to understand personal banking and credit card needs, ensuring seamless execution of transaction-based requests and accurate work organization. Follows risk and compliance processes to safeguard assets, report suspicious activity related to money laundering, and uphold legal and regulatory requirements. Maintains current knowledge of financial products and trends to provide sound, risk-informed decisions that align with business strategy and protect the bank's assets.

Required Qualifications

  • Typically between 1 – 2 years of relevant experience
  • Registration to sell investment products completed or in progress (must be completed within 12 months)
  • Canada only
  • Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, Smart phones, online tools, and applications
  • Some experience in a consultative customer service or sales roles
  • Drive to deliver a personal customer experience
  • Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions
  • Passionate commitment to helping customers
