Job Summary
Delivers exceptional service to customers and prospects by welcoming them into the branch lobby, guiding them through digital self-serve options, and conducting consultative conversations to recommend alternative banking channels and investment advice. Probes to understand personal banking and credit card needs, integrating marketing promotions to provide strategic guidance while meeting transaction-based requirements with seamless execution. Supports operational activities including inventory management, filing, and escalated service requests, while identifying referral opportunities to grow customer relationships beyond personal banking. Follows risk and compliance processes to safeguard assets, reports suspicious activity patterns, and maintains current knowledge of financial products and regulatory requirements. May work at multiple branches or through various channels based on market needs, with a schedule that may differ week to week.
Required Qualifications
- Typically between 1 – 2 years of relevant experience
- Registration to sell investment products completed or in progress (must be completed within 12 months)
- Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, Smart phones, online tools, and applications
- Some experience in a consultative customer service or sales roles
- Drive to deliver a personal customer experience
- A focus on results and the ability to thrive in a consultative sales and team-based environment
- Resourceful self-starter with courage and confidence to approach customers
- Readiness to collaborate and work in different capacities as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport and connections with customers
- An aptitude for listening, solving problems, and responding flexibly and creatively to new challenges
