Job Summary

Delivers exceptional service to BMO customers by welcoming them into the branch lobby, guiding them through digital options, and conducting consultative conversations to identify needs for personal banking and investment solutions. Probes into customer profiles to recommend alternative channels, integrate marketing promotions, and execute complex transactions while safeguarding assets through strict risk and compliance processes. Collaborates with partners to identify referral opportunities, manages operational activities like inventory and application follow-ups, and reports suspicious patterns related to money laundering. Works within a team-based environment to meet branch business results and uphold ethical requirements, maintaining current knowledge of the financial marketplace and regulatory environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Typically between 1 – 2 years of relevant experience
  • Registration to sell investment products completed or in progress (must be completed within 12 months)
  • Canada only
  • Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, Smart phones, online tools, and applications
  • Some experience in a consultative customer service or sales roles
  • Drive to deliver a personal customer experience
  • Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions
  • Passionate commitment to helping customers

  • Certification in related field of study
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
