Job Summary
Personal Banking Associate at BMO in Canada supports Retail Banking Sales & Service objectives by delivering exceptional service, uncovering customer needs, and guiding customers to appropriate financial solutions. The role involves client conversations to discuss personal banking and investment products, cross-collaboration with branch and market partners to identify referral opportunities, guiding customers through branch experiences and digital/self-serve options, and ensuring risk/compliance processes are followed while contributing to branch business results and overall customer experience. The position may involve work at multiple branches or channels with flexible scheduling and a focus on building relationships, problem-solving, and delivering a personalized customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Typically 1–2 years of relevant experience and/or certification in related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Registration to sell investment products completed or in progress (must be completed within 12 months) - as appropriate for the jurisdiction
- Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, Smart phones, online tools, and applications
- Some experience in a consultative customer service or sales roles, with a drive to deliver a personal customer experience
- Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions to refer to specialists
- Passion for helping customers

- Salary: $34,750.00 - $51,800.00 Pay Type: Salaried
