Job Summary
As a Personal Banking Advisor, you’ll be at the heart of Westpac’s branch network in Mildura, engaging with customers in-person and over the phone to uncover needs and provide tailored banking solutions. You will utilise product knowledge to assist customers in achieving financial goals, refer to specialised Banking teams when needed, and strive toward sales and referral targets while handling cash and financial transactions with accuracy. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service, learning banking procedures and technologies, and contributing to a supportive team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Customer service and sales experience, ideally in a customer-facing / phone-based role with experience of working to targets
- Resilience, with an ability to remain calm and composed whilst managing challenging situations
- Comfortable in working towards sales / referral targets and calling customers over the phone
- Numerical capability, ideally with proficiency in cash handling and counting, with ability to complete financial transactions with accuracy
- An energetic personality coupled with a genuine passion for helping people!
- The will to learn and adapt to new banking procedures and technologies
