Job Summary
Manage an assigned portfolio of members using financial planning concepts and advisory tools to meet complex credit and investment needs. Establish regular contact to identify needs, maintain detailed files on goals and action plans, and provide financial advice using cash-flow and credit management strategies. Act as the branch liaison with Wealth Management and SME representatives, jointly managing the portfolio while mentoring less experienced staff. Serve as the branch center of expertise for financial calculators and complex portfolio solutions, maintaining strong relationships with alliance partners and handling referrals for complex requests.
Required Qualifications
- Post secondary education
- 5 years related experience in a financial institution
- A minimum 3 years credit experience including analysis and knowledge of underwriting
- CSC or IFIC course completed with ability to be licensed
- CFP or PFP designation or currently in progress
- At a minimum 2 years of financial advisory experience
- demonstrated relationship building experience
- Proven track record in sales
- Extensive knowledge of processing/procedures of complex products including deposits, investments, loans and mortgages
- Sound knowledge of various computer applications including Excel, Word etc
- Very detailed knowledge and ability to demonstrate sales management techniques
- Developed writing skills sufficient to communicate detailed factual information to members and various department or partners
- Sound lending judgment
- Excellent problem-solving skills to systematically identify analyze and resolve complex member issues/problems
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
