Job Summary
Evaluate clients for additional deposits and loans, effectively cross-sell other bank products and services to ensure a solid client relationship. Open and close all types of deposit accounts for business and personal clients, process consumer loan applications, and answer loan questions while assuming a proactive role for resolution and follow-up. Monitor new account activity to ensure cross-sales are activated and on-boarding is completed. Actively work calling lists of existing clients to cross sell for expanded relationships and retention. Perform teller transactions, overrides, and make hold decisions as needed. Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements and assist in implementing new regulations. This position supports the Banking Center's sales and growth goals within Republic Bank & Trust Company.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' previous banking experience
- Minimum of 2 years' previous sales experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- NMLS registration
- Reliable transportation
- Regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite
- Ability to travel between Republic Banking facilities including occasional out of town travel
- Ability to work flexible schedules including some evenings, weekends and/or overtime
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move 10 pounds
- Close vision
- Distance vision
- Moderate noise level tolerance
