Job Summary
Establish and maintain effective client relationships by providing accurate, timely service and information while serving as a point-of-sale expert for deposit and lending products. Proactively engage clients over the phone and in person to identify opportunities for cross-selling new and existing bank products using needs-based conversations and strategic questioning. Perform daily transactions, open branch-related products, and monitor transactions for irregularities to mitigate potential risks and fraudulent activities. Identify and generate leads through existing relationships and community affairs, reporting results regularly to support branch and team goals. Maintain current knowledge of all Retail Banking products and compliance regulations to resolve client needs efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with clients, co-workers and management, building appropriate rapport at all levels.
- Ability to listen and ask appropriate questions to best serve the client.
- Flexible and adaptable to change.
- Strong ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with accurate attention to detail.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills, using logic to solve problems with effective solutions.
- High degree of PC based technical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Suite of products and other necessary applications.
- Regular, reliable attendance is required.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- May be required to have or obtain a Mortgage Loan Originator registration number through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS).
