Job Summary
Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients by providing accurate, timely service and information while serving as a point-of-sale expert for deposit and lending products. Proactively meet client needs across all departments through individual and team sales strategies, utilizing needs-based conversations to identify opportunities for new and existing bank products. Perform transactions, open branch-related products, and conduct marketing calls to generate leads and expand client usage. Monitor transactions for irregularities, escalate concerns, and comply with all bank policies and regulatory issues. Report results on a regular basis to discuss sales strategy with management and participate in branch audits. Schedule includes Monday through Thursday, 8:15am - 5:15pm and Friday, 8:15am - 6:15pm. Regular, reliable attendance is required.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with clients, co-workers and management, building appropriate rapport at all levels.
- Ability to listen and ask appropriate questions to best serve the client.
- Flexible and adaptable to change.
- Strong ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with accurate attention to detail.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills, using logic to solve problems with effective solutions.
- High degree of PC based technical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Suite of products and other necessary applications.
- Regular, reliable attendance is required.
- May be required to have or obtain a Mortgage Loan Originator registration number through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS).
