Job Summary
Process routine transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments while balancing daily cash totals. Open new memberships, manage joint ownerships, and originate unsecured loans such as credit cards and personal lines. Interview members to determine appropriate products, actively cross-sell services, and answer IRA questions regarding contributions and distributions. Perform follow-up calls to ensure member satisfaction and demonstrate knowledge of alternate delivery channels like online banking and mobile deposits. Support new Universal Service Representatives and participate in end-of-day branch balancing and ATM/CDM audits. Maintain cash vaults and issue debit cards as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One year financial institution experience in a Teller or similar role with an emphasis on accurate cash handling
- Demonstrates the ability to be flexible and prioritize workflow
- Member facing positions at our all branches may require standing
- Balances, fills, audits ATM/CDM/Recycler as needed
- Maintains cash vault
- Instant issues debit cards
