Job Summary
Advise customers on high-level financial solutions by engaging in thoughtful financial questions to deepen relationships and increase confidence. Provide personalized advice on investment and credit banking options, address concerns, and prepare documents consistent with regulatory guidelines. Act as a point of contact for frontline staff to handle customer problems while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Work closely with existing and prospective customers to discuss portfolio updates and suggest additional personalized solutions based on their goals. Maintain professional space in common areas and participate in process improvement opportunities to protect organizational interests. Achieve service level agreements and productivity targets while mentoring team members and fostering a positive work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 1 year of relevant experience
- Completion of IFIC or equivalent
- CFSA must be completed within 12 months, if hired
- Sound knowledge of advanced investing and credit processes, banking solutions and concepts
- Proficiency in software tools including MS Office, and internet application
- Tactful communicator able to exchange ideas and customer information in a concise and logical way
- Self-initiator with strong organizational, planning and time management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in related field
- Real estate secured lending and/or investment experience
