Job Summary
Personal Banker responsible for opening new accounts, submitting loan applications, educating customers about financial needs, and recommending products and services through in-person interactions and outbound calling. Role includes resolving customer service issues, handling teller transactions, promoting digital banking, and supporting relationship-building to expand the branch's customer base. Requires a 4-6 month training period with exposure to transaction processing, account opening, referral techniques, and sales. Schedule is full-time with a rotating weekly pattern including some Saturdays; requires ability to work with customers and use multiple banking software programs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of face-to-face customer service experience
- Previous cash handling experience
- Prior sales experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred
- Attention to detail
- Ability to use and learn multiple banking and software programs
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to market Bank products and services
- One year of banking experience preferred
