Job Summary
Develop new and retain existing customer relationships by proactively identifying cross-selling opportunities and utilizing fundamentals to achieve branch goals. Take ownership of the customer experience, including opening accounts, resolving issues, and delivering a welcoming lobby experience that directs customers to appropriate team members. Maintain thorough knowledge of bank policies, regulatory requirements, and all products across delivery channels while ensuring confidentiality and adhering to telephone standards. Proactively contact customers to ensure satisfaction, participate in business development activities, and assist in resolving difficult situations effectively. Maintain attendance with the ability to work a schedule including overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays, with potential rotation across various branches.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Maintains attendance with the ability to work a schedule that may include working overtime, nights, weekends and holidays
- May be asked to assist at various branches across Southern Bank's footprint

- Demonstrated positive and helpful attitude toward both internal and external customers
- Good interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to use effective communication skills, understand procedures, and speak clearly to customers, employees and supervisors
