Personal Banker

Personal Banker responsible for proactively meeting customer financial needs through direct sales and referrals while delivering world class service. The role involves interacting with customers in person, by telephone or video, leveraging the Peoples Bank sales process to achieve monthly production goals across products and services (loans, deposits, and access to information via mobile banking), and coordinating with partners to offer mortgage, retirement, and other solutions. Candidates should develop and retain the customer base, maintain confidentiality, ensure accurate balancing and error resolution, process deposits, and refer clients to business partners for cross-selling opportunities. The position requires needs-based sales experience, strong communication, the ability to convert service encounters into dialogue-based meetings, and the capacity to travel as needed for internal education and occasional branch coverage. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with basic computer skills and the ability to pass background and credit standards (NMLS credentials). The role emphasizes reliability, integrity, teamwork, and a customer-focused, solution-oriented approach to banking.
