Job Summary
Personal Banker at Ulster Savings Bank in New Paltz, NY. Responsibilities include processing retail and commercial deposits/withdrawals, opening personal and commercial accounts (checking, savings, safe deposit box, IRA), issuing debit and gift cards, redeeming savings bonds, handling CD redemptions and payouts, balancing cash box daily, verifying negotiable instruments, and marketing bank products by referring customers to appropriate departments. Requires strong verbal and written communication, excellent customer service, cash handling, and the ability to travel to other branch locations as needed.
