Job Summary
Greet members at your assigned Milwaukee branch location, conduct morning huddles, and lead team meetings to discuss updates and goals. Meet with clients to assess financial needs, educate them on products, open accounts, process loan applications, and handle transactions. Call members for follow-ups on new account activity and partner with colleagues to meet sales and referral targets. Address escalations to resolve critical member concerns and serve as a mentor to Tellers and Financial Specialists. Complete required training modules, including the 12-week onboarding program and weekly study for the CLCD Exam.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of customer service and/or consultative sales experience
- Demonstrated analytical, accuracy and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn a wide range of knowledge and continue to learn and develop your skill-set in a robust feedback environment
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships and provide top-notch service
- Demonstrated experience being flexible, adaptable, coachable, and collaborative in an autonomous and constantly changing work environment
- Natural skill-set to lead and influence others
- Proficiency with personal computer and office software
- Must obtain and maintain Notary Public certification in accordance with state requirements
- Valid work authorization to work for UWCU on the date of hire
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience working in a financial institution or in a retail leadership role
- Knowledge of new accounts, savings instruments, and consumer lending
- Consultative sales experience
