Job Summary
Personal Banker at PNC La Plaza in McAllen, TX, responsible for acquiring and deepening the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities. Drives the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve financial wellbeing, collaborates with ecosystem partners to grow share of wallet, and delivers a full PNC conversation to position suitable financial solutions. Executes a defined sales process including outbound calling, service-to-sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and effective lobby engagement to elevate client loyalty. Leverages relationships with Centers of Influence and community partners to acquire, expand, and retain customers, educates clients on options for managing financial transactions using technology and resources, and adheres to risk controls and policies. Participates in branch operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy, supporting a collaborative, inclusive workplace. Bilingual Spanish preferred for this location and in-office work is typical; sponsorship for employment visas is not provided for this position.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent (typically required)
- 3+ years experience preferred
- Customer service and sales experience in banking or financial services preferred
- Ability to manage risk and adhere to policies and procedures
- Bilingual Spanish preferred for this location
- Background checks as required by regulations
